    Some of us producers try to make movies that are high quality, commercial and exportable. Although it is true that today Spanish cinema has a greater presence in the global market and international film festivals, this forward motion is led by selective directors who have paved the way through their accumulated prestige, experience and making increasingly better films.

  • * AUTER CINEMA VERSUS ALL- ROUND PRODUCTION CINEMA.

    In Spain, devotion to auteur films, inherited from the French "Nouvelle Vague" and badly understood in general, has prevented the development of genuine, all-round producers.
