PROTAGONISTAS - EL ÚLTIMO JINETE

The rehearsals of this new show, featuring Albert Hammond, Barry Mason, John Cameron, Ray Loriga and Ranjit Bolt, started today. Víctor Conde (director), José Luis Sixto (resident director), Morgan Large (scenography), Karen Bruce (choreography) and Yvonne Blake (wardrobe design) make up the creative team of this much awaited show.

Its producer, Andrés Vicente Gómez, explains about 'El Último Jinete': "The Arabian horse is strength and sensitivity. It is nobility and memory, capable of remembering scenes of abuse and will never forget a caress. It developed in the desert. There, it cast its intelligence, its character and its resistance. In our musical, the protagonist lives a parallel life of loyalty and love. He and his horse look for each other in their dreams. In their life experiences, they will travel through the most fascination parts of the East and the West. They will experience peace, violence, cruelty and compassion. They will get to know places of extreme beauty and beings that represent all human and magical types. Amid the vicissitudes of this world they will live great adventures, but none as great as having met each other. The Last Horseman is not just Tiradh's dream but the dream of all those who are working in this risky and innovative production, which will soon premiere in the world."

Arabian Horses Production LTD and Andrés Vicente Gómez are the producers of El ÚltimoJinete, a new musical that will open in Madrid next December 5 until January 6 of 2013, being shown here for 5 weeks.
