Spain, 1930's. Torn between left and right wing factions, the country is in ruins. Rosendo, of humble stock, makes "good" when he kills the local tough guy in a fair fight. Don Nicolas Paredes (director of a paramilitary political organization) takes Rosendo on as a paid killer to look after his interests. Rosendo Juarez career spirals in an evertightening circle of violence... until the final challenge.
