A heart-warming coming of age story
set between Barcelona in the forties and the glamorous backdrop of
the Shanghai underworld. A 14-year-old boy falls in love with a
precocious teenage girl. The common bond of a paternal absence and
a thirst for knowledge and experience brings them together. As the
spell is cast and broken, their innocence is soon exposed to a
bittersweet world inhabited by pure fantasy and harsh reality.
